Annual Angel Tree Program


Community Outreach Ministry is hosting their 20th Annual Angel Tree Christmas Party Drive Through on Sunday, December 13, 2020, from 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm at the Elks Lodge #2591 at 33700 Mission Trail in Wildomar. The party is for the vulnerable population of children left behind by incarcerated parents ages 0-18 in Southwest Riverside County. Each year we adopt 200+ children to receive food, clothes, and fun gifts. Boy’s wish for hoodies, Battleship Games and LEGOS. Girls wish for hoodies, scarf, hat and gloves, and bath and body set. Year round prevention and intervention is offered by coaching children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematic mentor protégé Robotics, financial literacy, and arts workshops. The workshops are increasing the children’s competencies to perform hands on educational and vocational projects in STEAM for students ages 8-18 to engage with peers and mentors in small groups. Scholarships are also raised for children to go away too camp and have a mountain top experience. At camp, the children’s attitudes and behavior are improved giving them a sense of belonging, purpose, and acceptance to do better in school, at home and in the community.
